Local Businessmen Turn Chefs for a Great Cause! 

LeMars Community Education Enhancement Project or LEEP will be hosting MENuMASTERS again this year after a three-year break!  MENuMASTERS is the primary fundraiser for LEEP and raises money to support many educational needs within the LeMars Community School District.

This adult event will feature 18 local businessmen volunteering to be chefs for the evening. Chefs create ample samples in the categories of appetizers, main dish, sides, or desserts. During the event guests will vote on the Best Appetizer, Best Side Dish, Best Main Dish, Best Dessert, Best Theme, and Best Overall winner.

The event itself is a fun evening to benefit LCS teachers and students. In addition to chefs, people throughout the community are also able to donate their money through sponsorships.

Tickets for the event are presold and can be purchased at American Bank, Primebank, Northwest Bank, and Iowa State Bank. Tickets are also available at LeMars Community Schools Central Office and from any LEEP member. Tickets are $35 a person. Only 500 tickets are sold for the event.

Food tasting will be held from 5-8 p.m., with music and dancing to follow.  MENuMASTERS organizers are hoping to raise over $40,000.
