1000 Books Before Kindergarten

1000 Books Before Kindergarten is a free, nationwide challenge that encourages parents and caregivers to regularly read aloud to their young children. Find out more about how the Le Mars Public Library participates in this program.

Toddle Time

Stories and age appropriate activities for children 2 and under with an adult present in the room. 

Preschool Storytime

Stories and age appropriate activities for children 3-5 years.

K-2nd Storytime

Stories and age appropriate activities for children in grades K-2nd.

Pages for Prizes

Fall and winter reading programs to record time spent reading to earn small prizes. For children in preschool to grade 5.

STEM After-School

Children will complete challenges and tasks based on different STEM concepts. We will use Bee-Bots and learn about forms of coding. For grades K-2.

Video Game Design

Children will design their own video games using the program Bloxels. For grades 3-5.

Outside Inside Early Outs

Children in grades K-2 are invited to join various guest speakers as they explore the nature around us.
